Tricel Killarney has been working with our client Dan O’Sullivan Heating & Plumbing Ltd. from early in the design process to supply their cold water storage tank requirements to this major tourist attraction in the heart of Killarney. Tricel supplied and erected a 5 m x 2 m x 3 m sectional cold water storage tank with an internal and external ladder. We were happy to meet the requirements for this project to hold a capacity of 30,000 litres.

THE CHALLENGE
Killarney brewing company
Killarney Brewing Company has been producing great-tasting, quality beers since 2015 and is excited to announce an expansion in brewing capacity, and the launch of a premium spirits line simultaneously.
Currently, construction is underway at the new brewery, distillery, and visitor centre on the picturesque Ring of Kerry, overlooking the Mac Gillycuddy Reeks and Lakes of Killarney. With this state-of-the-art facility, they will meet the growing demand for beers, malt, and grains distillery and be home to their luxury spirits portfolio. The €24 million facility will be Ireland’s largest independently owned facility, with a stunning 62,000-square-foot complex. Moreover, it will serve as a cultural and employment hub to meet the growing demand for premium Irish products and experiences.

As a result of Dan O’Sullivan’s H&P initial inquiry in early 2022, the tank was designed, manufactured, delivered and installed to the requirements of WRAS by mid-June 2022.
